Lisa McKenzie, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, President/CEO
Founder Lisa McKenzie and her family have been living in the Las Vegas Valley since July of 1984 having moved here from Michigan. She and her husband Dave have raised their children here and participated in Little League, PTA, and other civic organizations. The McKenzies are currently residing in Henderson and are proud members of Henderson American Legion Post 40.


Having spent ten years in residential real estate, Lisa gained experience in managing homeowner associations by serving as President of her own association soon after moving into the community. After realizing that the issues of managing community associations were much more complex than most homeowners realize, Lisa began attending seminars and courses designed to assist board members in various aspects of homeowner association management.


After receiving her management certification Lisa went on to open Desert Living in October of 2002. She is a member of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and of the National and State Chapters of CAI (Community Associations Institute). Through her affiliation with CAI, Lisa has obtained the designations of CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and AMS (Association Management Specialist).


In addition, she has recently obtained her PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager), the highest designation that a community manager can attain.




Linda Gallop, Accounting Manager
Linda is originally from Michigan, but has travelled extensively and lived all over the country. She and her family now make their home in Las Vegas, where her husband is a pastor. Linda is extremely proficient in Quickbooks and Village Management Software and has been invaluable during our recent software upgrade and transition. Her expertise in the accounting field is invaluable in assisting homeowners with their accounts and board members with their financial reports.

Margaret McKenzie
Margaret McKenzie (Lisa's daughter), recently joined the company to add to the customer service values and principles of the business. Margaret's professional background includes working for high-end hotel brands like Bellagio, The Palms and she most recently worked for Wynn Las Vegas, where she was trained to provide top quality customer service. Margaret has elevated our customer experience by bringing with her the excellent managerial and customer service skills she learned while working for Wynn.
